We awoke to a beautiful day and decided to do another short hike to give us practice hiking with the babe and get ourselves back into hiking shape after our winter hibernation and childbirth. This week we chose to do the 4 mile version of the Dobie Mountain hike, which we found on the website “Hiking Upwards” (an awesome site that I wish we had found when Aaron first moved to Virginia). It was the perfect hike for our current situation. We stopped to admire some views from Glass Hollow Overlook, examined the remains of a 1964 plane crash, and enjoyed some lunch in the shade of the trees. Like last week, Sprout was enthralled with the trees and the sky.
